Services
I believe that every person has the innate capacity to heal. My role as a provider is to guide that process, helping you reconnect with your mind, body, and soul while addressing the root causes of your distress. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and deeply individualized. Together, we work toward wellness that lasts.
For meaningful healing to occur, it is essential that you feel seen and heard: a process that varies for each individual. Our first encounter is a 90-minute appointment. My goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of you as a person and the unique circumstances of your story. This extended time enables us to collaboratively develop a treatment plan that integrates an evidence-based integrative psychiatric approach with whole-person care, tailored specifically to your mental wellness needs.
Treatment Modalities
-
Medication can be an important tool on your journey to wellness. I prescribe thoughtfully and conservatively, using the lowest effective dose, while integrating other approaches to promote long-term balance and independence.
-
Small changes in sleep, movement, nutrition, and routine can make a profound difference in mental health. I work with you to identify empowering, sustainable habits that improve mood, energy, and focus.
-
Underlying medical or nutritional factors—such as vitamin D deficiency, thyroid imbalance, or inflammation—can significantly affect mental wellness. When appropriate, I use targeted lab testing to help uncover root causes and guide individualized treatment.
-
Sleep is the foundation of mental health. Whether disrupted by postpartum changes, hormones, or anxiety, I help patients restore healthy sleep rhythms through behavioral strategies, hormonal assessment, and lifestyle support.
-
Mindfulness is more than relaxation—it’s the skill of being fully present without judgment. I teach techniques to increase awareness, regulate emotions, and reduce reactivity to stressors.
-
Stress activates the body’s fight-or-flight response. I help patients learn tools to calm the nervous system, balance physiological reactions, and return to a sense of safety and groundedness.
-
Hormonal fluctuations can affect mood, focus, and energy. When indicated, I assess and help regulate hormonal balance to support emotional and physical wellness, particularly during perimenopause and postpartum transitions.
Treatment Modalities
I specialize in supporting women through major life transitions and emotional challenges that often go unseen or unspoken.
My focus includes
Perinatal and Postpartum Mood Disorders – including depression, anxiety, OCD, and intrusive thoughts following pregnancy or birth
Perimenopause and Menopause-Related Mood Changes – anxiety, irritability, mood swings, and cognitive fog linked to hormonal transition
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) – severe mood and physical symptoms that occur cyclically before menstruation
Depression and Anxiety Disorders – persistent sadness, hopelessness, worry, or panic
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) – trauma-related stress, flashbacks, and emotional numbing
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) – intrusive thoughts or repetitive behaviors that interfere with daily life
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) – challenges with focus, impulsivity, and organization
Panic Disorder – recurring episodes of intense fear, shortness of breath, and physical symptoms of anxiety
I particularly enjoy working with women who have spent years putting others first—mothers, caregivers, professionals—and who are ready to find their voice, reclaim their energy, and heal from the inside out.
