Oxytocin
Oxytocin is the bonding hormones- it strengthens connection, trust, and bonding.
When it peaks/flows, it makes us feel like hugging , induces physical touch, deep conversations, and acts of kindness.

Think of it as our “I feel connected” chemical!
Endorphins
Endorphins is the natural pain killer- It reduces pain and boost pleasure
It is released during intense exercise, laughter, crying, and when we are eating spicy food.
They matter because they help us push through discomfort and stress. Thus, producing a runner’s high.

These four systems work together. A fulfilling life isn’t about chasing constant dopamine spikes: it’s about cultivating motivation (dopamine), stability (serotonin), connection (oxytocin), and resilience (endorphins). Small daily habits like movement, sunlight, meaningful conversations, progress toward goals that nourish them all.
